This is an announcement of our upcoming quarterly cluster maintenance on August 18th 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern.
We will send additional reminders as we get closer to the date of this cluster downtime.
Important: End of Life for the BGFS Filesystem
Additionally, this maintenance will mark the official end of life for the BGFS filesystem. After August 18th, BGFS will no longer be available.
If your group still has data on BGFS that needs to be retained, we would like to coordinate a time to migrate it off.
While we are actively reaching out to groups with known data on BGFS, you can help with this by explicitly confirming whether your data is actively in use, and who we should coordinate with for scheduling the migration.
Our goal is to have every group either fully migrated or with a concrete migration plan in place before August 18th.
